You & Your Dog Cleansing Kit by Aesop

Everyone coo on the count of 3....awwww

The Aesop You & Your Dog Cleansing Kit is one of the most bizarrely adorable playthings I've come across. For dog lovers who always wanted to smell like their dogs, and vice versa, this product is for you. The pack comes in a little red (or green) box which includes two massive bottles: one for the two legged and one for the quadruped.

The human body cleanser has extracts of ylang ylang, wild lime, and bergamot that delivers fresh bursts of herbal goodness while you scrub up. While the animal shampoo (creatively named "Animal") contains sweet smelling natural anticeptics and deodorants such as lemon rind extract, tea tree, and spearming leaf extracts which leaves your furry fluffs pleasantly fragranced and thoroughly cleansed.

Although in reality, they're just two gigantic overpriced bottles of soap and shampoo costing $65, the idea is so damn cute, makes me want to buy a puppy just to play bath time with it!

I also think this great idea can be used (as much a gimmick as it is) by animal rights organizations such as WSPA and RSPCA . It would give them boundless market exposure and bring more animal lovers together to fight cruelty. It'd be so cool if some proceeds went to these charities, or if they launched their own line of pet care/body care products. This little kit is too cute not to turn heads!

aww that's cute! i want a dog...if anyone's interested in getting one to go with their dog cleansing kit please visit Sydney Dogs Home...or if you don't want a dog but just want to help you could walk some dogs there...i volunteer there (although i haven't been back in ages) and the dogs really appreciate it and many of them are willing to up the pace so if you like jogging/running it's great exercise

Sisi that's a great idea! Now I feel so guilty cos I've never been able to go cos it's so far away. Some of my friends go occasionally and they say it's great too!
Now I really wanna make some free time....

The Sydney Dog Home is at 77 Edward St, Carlton.

ah, too far away.

there's this other great volunteer network that rescues animals in sydney. Sounds amazing, but you need a car.

it's only a 25-30 min walk from my house so it's perfect for me cos i don't have my own car...i go in the holidays from 9am-1pm (that's when they're open for volunteers). there's a cattery too and the cats just love a pat or cuddle.

Yep Cibby I have replied. Thanks!

Wow Sisi, 30min of walking is pretty impressive if you get up early in the holidays to walk all the way there! But I suppose it's worth it just to cuddle the little ones!
I take it that you're like me and you've always wanted a pet but never got to have one!!!

I've had a duck once too. But once it got sick so I gave it a cold tablet, and it choked....

Aww what a bummer babe!

I ended up giving mine to the RSPCA cos they were actually strays (my neighbours and i found them wandering down our street...I know, pretty random)

Oh I've heard people who say that they've had ducks who live near them, and they'd cross the road with their ducklings!!!!
Soooo cute!!!
