Accessories for your Lovely Lady Lumps

July 26th 2007 01:27
I’ve heard of strapless bras, bra buddies, nipple covers, nudi-bras and even the new u-bras. But in search of better nipple covers as mine have turned my nipples from perky peekaboos to deformed lumps, I discovered some boobies accessories that had me going, “What the…?”

Faveo Freedom Bra
Faveo Freedom Bra
www.debras.com.au
I don’t know but this bra seriously looks like it belongs to the S&M collection. This ‘revolutionary’ bra, retailing at AUD$109.95 was seen on Today Tonight (you know, the so-called current affairs show where they promote bra products every 3 months just so people can tune in and cry out, ‘Boobies!’) and is the first strapless AND backless bra ever produced in the world. I am guessing this bra is only good for breasts that are still defying gravity because there is no way the style and design of this bra can support my chest.

Bra Disc Nipple Covers
Nipple Covers

Ok, I have got to try these out, just so I can say my nipples are wearing mini-fans or skin-coloured little UFOs. These covers are different from the norm in that they have ‘curving slits around the edges for a perfect non-slip fit’. They are re-usable and you simply wash them with soap and water and dry them on a towel after use. Best of all, you can wear them under your bikini top. Sounds good to me. I found these on www.amazon.com for US$19.

Chest-A-Peel
Chest a Peel
www.chestwrinkle.com
I saw this woman at a café with a plunging neckline and wrinkles in her cleavage so deep, I had the urge to reach out and see how much of my forefinger would sink into a fold. I didn’t think there was really any way to get around this as you age without going under surgery but then comes Chest-a-peel from www.chestwrinkle.com. It’s an adhesive, comfortable pillow pad that you stick to the area just above your breasts to prevent any creases forming throughout the night as you sleep on your side. Am I sold? Let’s just say I’ll make a conscious effort to sleep on my back from now on.

Perfect Form Miracle Lifts
Miracle Lift
www.perfectform.com.au
Want a breast uplift for just under AUD$20? I do! Miracle Lifts are transparent patches you adhere to the tops of your breasts to achieve an instant lift. No more lifting your arms over your head to lament over what they used to look like or sticking your chest out when you’re naked just so your nipples don’t graze your belly. I really don’t know quite how it works – maybe you adhere the bottom of the adhesive pad to just above the nipple, then lift your breast and adhere the top half of the pad to the tops of the breast? But whatever it is, I’m sold. I’m definitely putting my hand – or my boob – out for this one.

Have you ever tried any of these or have come across products that made you go hmmm……?

I'm happy with mine just as they are.

I never realized these other things existed, I thought the aim was to become more liberated not less.

And what are the men doing with their bits to make them measure up, do they have similar devices or do they still just use the socks.

All a bit silly if you ask me.

Hi Katyzzz...it would be more liberating for me if they weren't there in the first place.

Stick-ons all seem like a good idea but I fear they'll drop off at the worst moment! Nope, never dared to try

I have very small pert breasts..even into my 40's..I have only ever worn bra's on special occasions...weddings, parties, funerals or anywhere else I might get naked...but nevertheless found this fascinating...great post x

Hi Lara, nipple covers are adhesive and I've never had problems with them coming off. But I definitely want to try out these particular ones that are supposed to go under your swimmers.

Hi Anon, thanks for dropping by. Let me know if you ever try out any of these products.

Having big boobs is tricky enough (with the finding a bra, the back pain and the big bra straps digging into your shoulders) do we need to make it even more uncomfortable. That Faveo thing scares me.

Nipple covers would sure come in handy just in case you hit high beam on a chilly evening out.

Especially good for giving presentations in air conditioning so as not to distract your male (straight) colleagues.

Aimzter - I have to say, some of these sound interesting. But I'm just not sure that I beleive that something without straps or a back could support my chest. But hey, I'd be interested to hear if they actually work.

I do like the idea of the breast lift thing.,......maybe I need to try that!!

Hiya Aimzster,

hhhmmmm not sure I would be as adventurous as you here... those bra`s are a bugger though aren`t they? Those 'perfect form' thingy`s may come in handy when I am older though

You know, it is really amusing to me that Chest-A-Peel is considered a way to get rid of those wrinkles without surgery when the make (Carolyn Killen AKA MY AUNT) Has had SO much surgery including breast in largement...I'm fairly sure she has had all her wrinkles removed too since the last photo I saw of her she was 46 years old and looked 18. Don't know if it works or not, just looks uncomfortable and makes me giggle at the irony.

Hi guys,
I thought those Faveo things looked wrong as well, but was intrigued enough to go and be fitted (luckily I live in the UK where there are agreed fitters) and IT WORKS!! It's crazy, I get support, lift and it's comfortable, I love it. Took a little work to be able to put them on correctly, but now I even wear them under normal tops.
