China Slim Tea

China Slim Tea (aka 'Pooh Tea')This has probably been the most effective way for me to lose weight in a matter of days – as well as the most disgusting and the most dangerous.
For around AUD$5, you can buy a box of these slim teas in any Asian shop. They look harmless enough – 18 bags of black tea sitting in the box, promising you weight loss in a matter of days.
The box states that you saturate one tea bag or two in boiling water for two minutes and drink it after every meal. To sweeten the taste, you simply add honey.
Well, you can add a gallon of honey and it wouldn’t sweeten the taste. That is, if you can get past the disgusting smell. As soon as the tea bags are infused in water, an aroma would fill up the room, making you feel like you’re in a paddock with cow dung all around you.
It was so bad that when I brought the cup to my lips to drink, I had to refrain myself from vomiting. Then I developed the brilliant idea of drinking the hot tea through a very long straw. And the taste was almost as horrible as the smell but I forced it down. After sculling the tea for the first time – I drank it after breakfast, I sat there and I waited. I looked at the box to find out what was supposed to happen next. Nothing. Then I drank my second cup after lunch. Still nothing. After dinner – nothing.
Then at 11pm, I was getting ready to sleep when I felt this massive pain in my stomach. It’s the same feeling you get when you have a severe case of diarrhea. I rushed to the toilet, sweating, my knees shaking and feeling totally weak and dehydrated, wondering what was wrong with me. The pain was still there but nothing came out. I went back to bed, tossed and turned, willing the pain to go away. Occasionally, I would get out of bed to go to the toilet. And waited. Then returned to bed again. This went on for about an hour or two until finally, finally, everything I had eaten in the day just came out through the rear end. Everything and more. I had a restless sleep that night, waking up with an ache in my stomach, prompting me to go to the toilet again and again and again.
Still grasping to the promise of dramatic weight loss, for the next few days, I continued with the slim tea. But this time, I only drank one cup per day and I drank it at 11pm so I would at least have some rest for the night. The pain would come at 8 in the morning followed by an hour or two of just sitting and waiting. Finally, it would come. And throughout the rest of the day, everytime I put something in my mouth, I would literally have to go to the toilet afterwards. It only stopped at around 3pm.
After one week of this routine, I lost one kilo. I went from 56 to 48 in 3 months. At that time, I was elated. My wedding was coming up and I wanted to look slim. I didn’t care that the warning on the box mentioned that prolonged use would cause damage to the kidneys. I was willing to suffer through the smell, the disgusting taste just so I could walk down the aisle in a Size 6 wedding dress.
Then one morning, six months later, driving to work, I felt completely dehydrated. I was shaking, my hands gripping the steering wheel were white, I thought I was going to pass out – on the M4, no less! I managed to get to work in one piece and spent the next two days lying on the cold tiles of the toilet office, praying to God to let me faint already.
It was then I realised what I had known all along – this stuff is dangerous. So I stopped. But because my body had relied on the tea so heavily in the past six months, it took two weeks for me to be regular again.
Sadly, everytime I tell people about this Pooh Tea and its effects, their eyes light up. After all, you don’t have to exercise, you eat as much as you want and all you have to do is drink one cup a day and you lose weight almost instantly. They ignore the side effects – severe abdominal cramps, faintness, dizziness, dehydration, not to mention the effect it has on your bodily organs, not just your kidneys. Then they drink their first cup…

My mother introduced me to it and she said the trick to keeping hydrated when taking this product (she's a nurse) is to drink something with electrolites to replace the water you are losing. This minimises some of the serious side effects. As for the pains, I had them for the first 2 days and they were gone. Now I just feel the urge to go to the bathroom at a more urgent level. I love the stuff![/SIZE]

I exercised and dieted at the same time which is why I lost so many kilos in 3 months. You can find this at any Asian supermarkets, in the tea section.
I really don't recommend this to anyone - especially if you're looking for a long-term solution to losing and keeping the weight off. As mentioned, this causes serious damage to your kidneys and other organs if you use for a prolonged period. I read at one point that you really should stop using after 6 months. Another thing, you may lose the weight but this doesn't mean you're fit - you'll find a lot of your muscles are gone and your strength and energy are reduced, especially if you're not exercising and toning at the same time.

The idea is that there is a lot of old waste in your colon. The teas "irritate" your colon so that it contracts to expel the accumulated waste. Well if the waste is hard it has to cramp harder Think of squeezing out of a tube, if the contents are thick and hard, then it'll take more work to get it out and come out slower than it they were soft, like a gel or something.
The only way to get your internal waste softer is my adding more water. The first BM may be watery, but if your properly hydrate eventually, the old stuff in there will come out like a regular BM.
Sorry for all of the gross detail. but hope this helps. -Sam
