Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion

There is never a better time to work on your tan than in the middle of winter. At least this is what the Dove marketing department must be thinking when they launched their Summer Glow Body Lotion in June. The idea doesn't seem as ridiculous as it potentially could be; considering all the horror skin cancer and wrinkle stories that makes sun-baking not as amusing as it used to be. There is also the over-enthusiasts of the instant tanner; who walk out of the house looking like the Kramer turkey only to sob pitifully after jeers of ridicule are thrown mercilessly at them.

Suddenly applying this cheap-as-chips, slow-acting, skin tanner in the middle of winter becomes more and more appealing. Just imagine, nobody would even suspect the increasing golden hue accumulating under your boots, cords, and coats. Then when the time comes, tada! You unveil the glowing goddess/god underneath your winter cover as you are showered by ooohs...ahhhs...of envy, marvel, and admiration from Miss Fish-belly Legs and Mr Chalky Stomach. The very thought makes my own fish-belly legs wobble in delight!

For around $7, you get 250ml of this pleasantly fragranced body lotion. It doesn't really feel different from any other body lotion, though it doesn't oil you up as much as sorbelene. Your skin sort of feels nice and soft afterwards. The trouble is the challenge of consistently covering your whole body with it every night until summer. My arms are tired already.....

The pain of having fish belly legs is obviously alien to you, go on, laugh at my disfigurement!
