Get Ready for that summer bikini with the Paleo Diet

Summer is just about upon us and what that means is fewer clothes to cover up any excess weight we have gained over the winter months. And for anyone who is looking to quickly drop pounds and reduce the size of their midsection, then I can think of no other diet that is more effective than the paleo diet.
Why the Paleo or "Caveman" Diet is notches above other Diets...
Most fad diets will restrict you to eating just a few things. Others will literally starve you with their portions. But with the Paleo Diet, it is all about eating what you should be eating in the first place. Instead, it is very similar to the south beach diet in that the diet focuses on fresh fruit and vegetables. The similarities end after that though...
The paleo diet- Eat like a caveman...
The paleo diet believes that we should eat like a "caveman." Cavemen didn't eat bread. They didn't have access to milk (or cows. The didn't make rice. This is all a relatively new thing.... Instead, our focus should be devoted to what our ancestors ate when we were hunters and gatherers. This limits what you can eat to raw vegetables and fruit (you can steam them or cook them) and any protein that comes from an animal. Organic meats are recommended because you would be eating them as they were intended.
What is off the table is sugars, breads, rice and pasta and pretty much anything else that is considered agricultural including milk. But this diet not only works for getting slimmer and losing weight...the creator has also seen a link between the foods that we eat and some modern day diseases such as arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. It isn't just about slimming down though. This diet can work wonders on those who are suffering from arthritis, have high blood pressure or want to find away to kiss insulin shots goodbye.
The Paleo Diet is supposed to help relieve conditions such as arthritis, which is nothing more than an inflammation in the joints, because, the creator asserts, the body can fully concentrate its efforts on treating it by eating a cleaner diet.
The fact is, most people who follow this diet has noticed a drop in their blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels within the first month. Others have eventually been able to not only control their type 2 diabetes, they have been able to stop taking insulin.
The Paleo Diet- But can you lose weight?
While there things are important, the bigger question is can you lose weight on the paleo diet and if so, how effective is it compared to other popular diets? The amazing thing is that it is a belly buster because it eliminates all the things that make us fat in the first place... Things like bread and pastas are gone. Many condiments, which contain sugar are gone. Alcohol is gone.
And while this may seem a bit drastic, the reward for you is most likely going to be the body that you had when you were a teen. The question is how disciplined are you?
It could be a lifestyle....
