Mascara Diorshow: Longer, Thicker Lashes
June 15th 2006 05:05
There are essentially 3 ways to create a false-lash effect that give your eyelashes that sweeping sultry look that is oh-so-sexy. The most straight-forward way is obviously to stick on some fake lashes. However this requires much skill, precision, time, and is quite costly(if you screw it up alot). You can of course get semi-permanent false lashes attached but that can turn out to be a bit of a hassle as well. For those of us particularly skilled at picking off glued plastic with a tweezer and skillfully trimming and sticking it to one's lids, kudos.
The second way is to apply two different types of mascara to your eyes. First sweep a lengthening mascara over the lashes to establish the length and shape of the hairs while separating them. A good one would be MAC's Zoom Lash, this one does a good job in separating individual lashes while extending them. Then apply a thickening mascara, like L'Oreal's Voluminous mascara to finish off with the volume. If you don't mind wielding two mascaras around every time you do makeup, then this option is the way to go.
The third way is to find a smashing, fantastic mascara that frames your lashes around your eyes like heavy curtains. The best product for dramatic eyes on the market so far is probably Mascara Diorshow. It might not be suitable for daywear because it's so heavy, or for those who prefer a more natural look. However it's absolutely essential for fans of big lashes; making your eyes all the more intense and exubrient in the night time.
Now in waterproof, what more could you ask for?

God created Dior for the less fortunate. Bless Dior.
Though I think guys with thick lashes are pretty sexy too.

It's UNBELIEVABLE. I've got everyone I know hooked onto it now... Even my sister, who used to be very anti-mascara!
