Who Needs Facial Reconstruction When You Have Wedding Photographers?

August 18th 2006 04:31
I recently received an email titled "Why women insist on taking Wedding Photos" expecting some sort of feminist/chauvinist joke. However what greeted me was a series of before/after pictures reminiscent of that extreme makeover show. Except this time, all that were needed was just some clever lighting and extreme delux pampering.

Through complex logical thought, I have deduced the photographer was probably called Julia, who is also Chinese. Golly she's good.

I love before/after shots... that's why I don't go nuts over models...it's all about the make up and photography...!

I found them pretty amusing myself. My grandmother forced me to take some of these before and they ended up looking worse than normal pictures. So I was really impressed with these ones....

But yes, it's all in the lighting, and the angle....they all seem to be from the same angle too...

yes, I noticed that a lot of chinese girls get these glamour photos done... I guess you might as well get pictures done when you're young!

Yeah it's torture though, all from pressure from relatives I say. Especially crap if they turn out like dung.

I've never taken glamour photos, but you're right Cibby, I remember all the Asians in school who used to love getting them done. Bummer that yours didn't turn out the way you wanted Bunbury! If your profile pic's anything to go by I think you're pretty enough already (both of you ).

Oh Sisi you just love making people blush don't you. But of course we had alot of reasons to make our pics both SMALL and BLURRY to give out the optimal optical illusion haha!

Thanks Adrian! Right back at ya!
